Mr. Edwards is a shareholder in the firm’s litigation department. He has extensive experience litigating a wide variety of cases, including complex business disputes, employment disputes, deficiency actions, real estate disputes, receivership actions and landlord-tenant disputes (both commercial and residential).
Mr. Edwards obtained his Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Arizona, majoring in Finance with a minor in Political Science. While in school, he played football for the Wildcats and interned with the Arizona Supreme Court. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. There, he served as a Note and Comment Editor on the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law. He also served as a law clerk for the Arizona Office of Homeland Security, the Pima County Attorney’s Office and the Honorable James C. Carruth, Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.
Mr. Edwards is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Nevada, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Edwards is active in the community through local and national professional, church, and civic groups. He was appointed to the Southern Nevada Disciplinary Board of the State Bar. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and Clark County Bar Association.
