BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Dustin L. Clark’s practice is centered on employment and labor law matters across a variety of industry sectors including hospitality, gaming, higher education, charter schools, nonprofit, real estate, and construction. As an employment lawyer and litigator for over 15 years, Dustin has worked with countless organizations to represent clients in cases involving discrimination, harassment, wage-and-hour violations, workplace torts, trade secrets and breach of employment contracts. He has represented employers before state and federal courts as well as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Nevada Labor Commissioner, and other government agencies.
Mr. Clark advises clients on employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and conducts company-wide training in the areas of discrimination—with a specialization in gender and sexual orientation, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour. Additionally, he prepares and partners with clients on employee contracts, human resources handbooks, non-competes and severance agreements. His recent cases include defending a state-wide non-profit against allegations of race discrimination as well as litigating issues involving an employee’s breach of the fiduciary duty of loyalty.
Dustin also has experience in general civil litigation as well as estate and probate disputes.
