Glenn Meier is dedicated to assisting Nevada businesses to optimize their operations, manage risk, and achieve long-term business success through effective planning. He is experienced in all aspects of business law and has built his practice on the premise that good planning and execution can mitigate the risk of business disputes; and that, should they occur, many business disputes can be settled through negotiation and mediation.
Business law can be relatively simple, for example in the areas of corporate filings and the duties of a business resident agent; or very complex as in the areas of contracts, fiduciary requirements, environmental regulations, and more. Mr. Meier’s role as your Counsel is to ensure the laws and regulations pertaining to your business are well managed so you can focus on achieving your business goals. Glenn believes in free enterprise and values the principles of Conscious Capitalism. He is committed to helping business owners achieve their goals by applying the tenets of Conscious Capitalism including building strong relationships with all stakeholders, supporting Conscious Leadership, developing a Conscious Culture, and aligning all business decisions with the organization’s higher purpose and core values.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Meier spent six years in the United States Air Force in the Judge Advocate General’s Department. During that time, he participated in many criminal trials including complex fraud cases and murder trials. His courtroom skills were recognized by the Air Force leading him to be name to a small group of prosecutors assigned to handle serious cases across the U.S.
Mr. Meier has additional training and experience in the area of mediation. He has completed over 100 hours of training at the prestigious Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University. His skills as a mediator allow him to act as an effective neutral third party helping people resolve disputes. His training also gives him tools to help his clients resolve their disputes more effectively.
Mr. Meier is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Nevada as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United State Supreme Court.
Mr. Meier received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside in 1987. He received his law degree from Emory University in 1990. While in Law School, he served on the editorial board of the Emory Law Journal.
