John Savage

My approach to the practice of law is simple: I work by the book. I don’t cut corners or blur lines. Clients know that when they hire me, I am going to play by the rules and work as hard as I can to advance their interests in achieving the best outcome possible.

John Savage is an accomplished and well-rounded litigator. His practice primarily focuses on business litigation and personal injury defense, including wrongful death actions and the defense of healthcare providers in medical malpractice lawsuits. John has also defended clients in administrative disciplinary actions brought before the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners and Nevada’s Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB).

John’s litigation practice expanded into the cannabis industry in 2019 when a major player in Nevada’s booming cannabis industry was forced into receivership. Because the company was barred from seeking federal bankruptcy protection, a Nevada state court appointed a receiver over the company for the first time in the history of Nevada’s cannabis industry. John served as co-counsel for the court-appointed receiver who liquidated more than $12 million worth of assets. This groundbreaking case now serves as a blueprint for other insolvent canna-businesses and their creditors.

Drawing from his vast courtroom experience to help other litigants resolve their disputes, John also serves as a neutral in ADR proceedings, including cases assigned to the Court Annexed Arbitration program of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County, Nevada.

Outside of the office, John enjoys time at home with his wife and daughter, rooting on his Cleveland Browns, learning about history, and talking about getting back into the gym.
